Every one's story is one of a kind and everyone has a reason why they
want to embark on a Camino. Your journey will always be an adventure while searching for a quest of meaning.
This Camino gives you the opportunity to embark on such a journey. It gives you a chance to hear your heartbeat as you walk through the landscape of the Klein Karoo. This Camino consists of a number of shorter routes. You can walk the entire distance and
therefore all routes, or you can book only for the route/s of your choice.
We are currently ready to take your booking for leg one,
namely the Spitskop route. Keep an eye on our webpage to see when the
other routes open. The starting point as well as destination depends on the leg you are choosing –
whether starting in George or Oudtshoorn. The total route is 400km long and takes us past
Mossel Bay, Attakwas, Saffron River and through the foothills of the Swartberg
Mountains.
We conquer a mountain pass or two and finish again after 22
days. It is required of hikers to be reasonably fit (although many reckon they
walk themselves fit on such a route...) in order to be able to walk on uneven
terrain and mostly dirt roads.
